Describe an occasion when you received incorrect information
At many occasions, we are misinformed
knowingly or unknowingly. Of course, so much false information is available
everywhere. But sometimes, we may get information incorrectly due to technical
or clerical errors. The same thing happened with me last year. I applied for a
competition exam and I got my exam and venue details through an email. I well
prepared myself for the exam for almost about 2 months because I could get a
job by qualifying it. But, when I reached the exam centre, I found that I was
not unlisted and examiner was not allowing me to get an entry in the exam hall.
When I showed him my admit card, he told me that there was a clerical error. I
requested him to give me the actual venue details. After getting the details, I
rushed for my new venue. But, by that time, half of the time of the exam had
gone and I could attempt a few questions. I could not get desired marks. I felt
disappointed. It is not just this time; there are many other instances when we
get false information. So, this is the time when I got incorrect information.
