It is common for family members to help each other. Family members keep soft heart for each other and in times of need, they are the first one to come forward.
There are five members in my family- my parents, my grandparents and sibling. We all live in our home in village/city. We spend time together while helping each other in all easy and difficult situations. Since my father is the head of family and he is earning member, other family members depend on him for their needs. It is my father that would always help me with money and good advice while my mother gives us good care.
Last year, my mother wanted to go my aunt’s house and stay there for 2 days. But she was worried who will take care of rest of family members. So she asked me for help if I would take care of the house. I assured my mother that I would take care of all and she could happily go to my aunt’s house.
In her absence, I tried my best to handle household tasks. I prepared food for family members, washed clothes, and cleaned the house. I tried to take of everyone in the way my mother did. I helped my sister in her school work. I gave water, prepared tea and milk for family members at different times of the day. Infact in those two days, I realized that managing a house and family and taking care of family members is a very tedious job.
All were happy with my care and dedication. I had promised my mother to help her by managing the household chores in her absence, and I did it. When my mother returned, she was very happy with me. She blessed me.
So this was the time when my mother asked for my help and I was happy to be useful to her.
