Describe a situation or a time when you helped someone

We are humans and we need help of each other (to live and survive).There are many such times when I could help someone (and at other times, I received help from others).I would like to talk about a time when I helped my friend.

I was in 10th Standard in School. My friend Ram failed in school exams.He was so much worried and he was about to quit school.I visited his house and convinced him to continue school.I promised him to help in studies. So he decided to re-appear in the exams in which he failed. I regularly helped him in learning lessons. Everyday, he would come to my house. We both would stay toether and motivate each other for studying. I made him prepare note books and also, we got together for study even on Sundays.

Within 5 months, he improved a lot and he scored 65% in the final exams.Our teachers and his parents were surprised with his performance.He thanked me for that help.Later on, he continued his studies.I was very happy for my friend.

So this was the time when I helped someone.
